The holidays were over in every sense of the word - not that Jimi's schedule ever lightened up for long. Flying back to London the day after new year's; helping girlfriend Kathy move their possessions into their new apartment on London's Brook Street; interviews, television, recording sessions... The Experience were due to begin their next European tour in Gothenburg on January 8, and they didn't even have time to apply for their visas until the day before they were scheduled to leave.

Perhaps no other artist's music has had so many diverse and varied interpretations and meanings derived from its expression as have Jimi Hendrix's musical statements. But I feel that most of them have not done justice to what Jimi tried to convey, and so I am penning down my thoughts and feelings which I feel are closer to Jimi's. But in any case, I would like to mention that whatever my views or anybody's, the music of Jimi has been immortally engraved in the astral realms of sound, and the vibrations are going to remain, regardless of whether the sun refuses to shine or the mountains fall into the sea.
