Are there any plans to reissue Live At Winterland?

ANSWER:

Portions of Jimi's six October 1968 concerts at the Winterland ballroom in San Francisco had been previously featured as part of Jimi Hendrix Concerts, Live At Winterland and the EP Live At Winterland + 3. By 1993, all of these titles were deleted from the world marketplace by the previous administration in charge of Jimi's music catalog.

Experience Hendrix has recently included two previously unavailable recordings from Winterland on the new Voodoo Child: The Jimi Hendrix Collection release. Lead-off tracks "Fire" and "Hey Joe" on the 'live disc' were both recorded during performances on October 12, 1968.

We hope to create a definite collection of Jimi's six Winterland performances for release in the future.
