"I was very shocked and saddened to hear about Noel Redding's death.
"Noel was a unique, unusual and gifted person. We were lucky enough
to share -- for too short a time -- a rare and colourful history
as The Jimi Hendrix Experience. There are so many memories, some
good, some not so good -- but Noel's sense of humour always
helped keep spirits up.
"Hearing that Margaret Redding -- Noel's terrific mother -- had died
recently just made the news even sadder. Her death must have hit Noel
very hard.
"My thoughts and prayers are with Vicki and the Family. Although Noel
is gone, they have the comfort of knowing he will never be forgotten."
